I get tangled in my heartstrings, and rather than try to untangle myself, I squirm and wriggle, tightening those heartstrings around myself, until I make a brash, bold, idiotic and completely irrational decision, which nearly always turns out to be a momentously inspired mistake.
You really haven’t got a clue what it’s like to be around you. You don’t understand the high one feels when in your presence. You underestimate the way you effect me. You don’t get it. You never will. I may put you on a pedestal, but it’s a pedestal that is well deserved.
And I am just a dumb boy.
